Launch of DMQ’s French-Language Training Clinic

The launch of DMQ’s French-language training clinic to mentor the next generation of movement lawyers aims to provide mentorship and practical training to law students at the Université de Montréal and UQAM. The initiative seeks to strengthen the legal capacity of social movements by training people who want to use their skills in support of social and environmental justice.

Défense des Militant·e·s Québec is the only activist legal clinic in Quebec. Through its legal services, training activities and support, the organization assists activists and marginalized communities while helping improve access to justice and defend collective rights.
