A Community Space for Sexually and Gender-Diverse People in Brome-Missisquoi

A Community Space for Sexually and Gender-Diverse People in Brome-Missisquoi aims to create an inclusive and safe community space to address social isolation and the lack of resources in rural areas. Led by the community, the initiative promotes mutual support, empowerment and stronger connections among sexually and gender-diverse people.

For more than 15 years, Divers-Gens has supported 2SLGBTQIA+ people and their loved ones in the Haute-Yamaska and Brome-Missisquoi regional county municipalities. Through its support, awareness-raising, training and rights advocacy activities, the organization helps build more inclusive communities and combat discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
