For Trans Care Grounded in Dignity, Rights, and Solidarity aims to expand across Québec the trans patient union model developed by the Montreal Trans Patient Union (TPU). By supporting the creation of organized patient groups in healthcare settings throughout the province, the initiative enables trans and non-binary people to organize collectively and improve their access to healthcare services.

The Montreal Trans Patient Union (TPU) is a trans-led organization dedicated to improving access to healthcare for trans and non-binary people across Québec. Through collective rights advocacy, peer support, and dialogue with healthcare institutions, the organization works alongside communities to help transform healthcare systems into ones that are more accessible, respectful, and equitable.
